Inspiration - Pantone® of the year.
So… not to be smug but we’re getting pretty good at predicting Pantones colour of the year.
This year, Pantone has crowned PANTONE® 17-3938 Very Peri as their Queen and we agree! Pantone says “Very peri displays a spritely, joyous attitude and dynamic presence that encourages courageous creativity and imaginative expression.”
Throughout the pandemic, creativity was, and became, a huge outlet for people during the numerous lockdowns. We love that this year's colour of the year encourages us to engage with the right side of the brain, the area associated with creativity; imagination; and art awareness, as we believe it’s what kept us sane last year. If there’s anything that 2022 needs more than ever it is spirit and joy!
They also say that Very Peri encompasses “the qualities of the blues, yet at the same time possessing a violet-red undertone.” But what do you see? Blue or purple?… We notice a similarity between our lilac.
